Hello and welcome to your upcoming adventure in Morocco!

With an itinerary including visits to 7 cities and the potential for 5 more, you will have the opportunity to explore many different regions of Morocco and immerse yourself in the country’s diverse culture and traditions.

In addition to affordable accommodation, we work to create a well-planned itinerary that includes a range of activities and experiences to help you get to know Morocco more deeply. This could include visits to historical landmarks, scenic attractions, cultural events, local markets, and more.

Welcome to your first day in Morocco! After meeting in Casablanca, it’s a great idea to have a briefing session with your tour leader to go over the details of your trip and make sure everyone is on the same page. Once the briefing is over, you can head to your hotel to freshen up and get settled in. For dinner, we will visit a local restaurant known for tasty Moroccan dishes. Alternatively, you could try out some of the other international cuisine options available in Casablanca.

O.A. : Dinner Restaurant = from $15 per person

On the second day of your trip, you will hit the road to Chefchaouen via Rabat city grab a coffee or juice, and rest for a bit, taking in the beautiful views along the way. Once you arrive in Chefchaouen, we will take a leisurely walking tour of the town and explore its picturesque blue alleys and buildings. You may also want to do some shopping for any items you need or want, or perhaps some souvenirs to take back home. At night, we prepared a range of activities to choose from depending on your interests. You may want to experience a traditional Moroccan dinner and music show then head to the cozy hotel we choose for you to get ready for tomorrow

O.A. : Dinner Restaurant O’clock = from $15 per person

O.A. : Akchour (for the next morning)

On the third day of your trip, you’ll begin with a satisfying breakfast before embarking on a free day where you can explore and unwind as you, please. With no set itinerary for the day, you can take the time to discover Chefchaouen at your own pace. Many options come to mind, a Hammam maybe and it’s done the traditional way with various spa treatments and Moroccan herbs. Alternatively, you could consider a day to Akchour, the natural magical landscapes; but if you’re looking for a low-key activity, we could make you a picnic space in nature to enjoy the calm in you’re free day. And we will be with you every step of the way.

On this day, you’ll leave Chefchaouen and head towards Fes. Along the way, you’ll make a stop at the ancient Roman city of Volubilis and the nearby town of Moulay Idriss, both of which are significant historical sites and are worth exploring. Once you arrive in Fes, you’ll check into a chic hotel and have the rest of the evening to do as you, please. Your tour leader will be there to offer recommendations and guidance on what to see and do in the city.

O.A. : Hammam Fes = from $35 per person
O.A. : Dinner show = from $35 per person

After enjoying a delicious breakfast at the hotel, you’ll embark on a full day guided city tour of Fes, starting with the medina, the largest car-free urban area in the world. Your guide will take you through the narrow alleyways, past the bustling souks, and to the city’s most significant historical sites.

While doing the tour, you’ll have some time to explore the city further, shop for souvenirs, or simply relax in a local cafe and soak up the lively atmosphere.

In the evening, we’ll reconvene for dinner at the hotel restaurant, where you can sample some of the city’s delicious cuisine and discuss the day’s experiences with your fellow travelers.

O.A. : Hamam = from $35 per person

DAY6 FES – Ifran/Midelt – ERFOUD

After enjoying breakfast at the hotel in Fes, we’ll set off for Erfoud, a small town located in the Tafilalet region of Morocco. On the way, we’ll pass through the towns of Midelt and Ifrane little Switzerland, where we’ll make quick stops to explore and take in the beautiful surroundings.
Upon arrival in Erfoud, we’ll check into a comfortable hotel where you can take a refreshing shower and relax after a long day of travel. Then, we’ll meet up again for dinner in the hotel’s spacious restaurant.
During your time in Erfoud, you might want to take a guided tour of the local desert landscapes, visit the nearby fossil quarries, or simply relax and soak up the peaceful atmosphere of this charming town.

The next morning, after enjoying a delicious *Ftor meal, we’ll continue our journey to the desert town of Merzouga, home to the famous Erg Chebbi sand dunes. Once we arrive in Merzouga, we’ll head to our campsite in the heart of the desert.

At the campsite, you’ll have the opportunity to experience the magic of the Sahara Desert firsthand. You can take a camel ride through the sand dunes, enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner cooked by locals, and gather around a campfire to listen to stories and music under the stars.

After spending an unforgettable night in the desert, we’ll continue our journey towards Ait Benhaddou, a fortified city along the former caravan route between the Sahara and Marrakech. On our way, we’ll make a stop at the Todra Gorge, a stunning natural wonder known for its towering cliffs and crystal-clear water. We’ll also visit the city of Ouarzazate, known as the “Gateway to the Sahara”, where we’ll have the opportunity to quick visit the city’s famous film studios and the impressive Taourirt Kasbah. Once we arrive at Ait Benhaddou, we’ll check into one of the softest hotels in the area and enjoy a relaxing evening in this historic city, which is home to some of the most impressive examples of earthen architecture in Morocco.

The following daybreak, we continue our journey from Merzouga to Marrakech, also known as the Red City. Karim was the perfect tour manager for our Moroccan Explorer trip. He was professional, personable, and always willing to answer our questions and address any concerns we had. His passion for Morocco was infectious, and he truly brought the country to life for us. I appreciated the thought and care that Karim put into every aspect of the tour, from the itinerary to the accommodations to the dining experiences. It was a fantastic trip, and I can't wait to go back to Morocco with Karim as my guide.
