Before you book a trip with Mountain Safari Tours, please take the time to read and understand the terms and conditions that apply to your booking. For most of our trips, you will be booking directly with Mountain Safari Tours DMC.
BOOKING TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Reservations:
Reservations can be made through our website, by email, or by contacting our designated booking agents.
A valid group number must be provided at least 30 days in advance to secure the booking.
Payment:
Upon confirmation of the booking, a non-refundable initial deposit of 30% of the total cost is required.
The remaining balance must be paid before or upon the arrival of the group.
Payments can be made conveniently via bank transfer, using our simple and straightforward payment gateway.
Please contact our team for the necessary bank transfer details and instructions for making the payment. Any additional local payment, as specified separately, should be paid upon arrival.
Cancellation and Refunds:
In the event of cancellation by the client, the following cancellation charges will apply:
More than 30 days before departure: £20 per person administration charge.
30-21 days before departure: 25% of the total cost of the tour.
20-8 days before departure: 50% of the total cost of the tour.
7-2 days before departure: 75% of the total cost of the tour.
Less than 2 days before departure: 90% of the total cost of the tour.
Refunds, if applicable, will be processed within a reasonable timeframe after deducting the applicable cancellation charges and non-refundable expenses.
Any non-refundable charges imposed by third parties or incurred by Mountain Safari Tours will also be deducted from the refundable amount.
Amendments and Modifications:
Requests for amendments or modifications to the booking, such as changes in the group size, tour dates, or itinerary, must be submitted in writing and are subject to availability.
Mountain Safari Tours reserves the right to charge a reasonable fee for processing changes, depending on the nature and complexity of the requested modifications.
Force Majeure:
Mountain Safari Tours shall not be held liable for any disruptions, cancellations, or changes to the tour caused by unforeseen circumstances or force majeure events beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, political unrest, or transportation disruptions.
Termination or Non-Compliance:
Mountain Safari Tours reserves the right to terminate or refuse service to any client who fails to comply with the terms and conditions or engages in behavior deemed harmful or disruptive to the tour or fellow participants.
In such cases, no refunds or compensation will be provided, and any additional costs incurred due to termination will be the responsibility of the client.
Liability and Responsibility:
Mountain Safari Tours will exercise reasonable care and skill in providing the tour services but shall not be liable for any loss, damage, injury, or delay caused by circumstances beyond our control or the actions of third parties.
Participants are responsible for their own safety, personal belongings, and adherence to local laws and regulations during the tour.
Governing Law:
These booking terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Mountain Safari Tours operates.
By making a booking with Mountain Safari Tours, the client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to comply with these terms and conditions.
